Arora during the occasion said the pandemic has pushed the use of computerized benefits the nation over and there is a need to have a powerful online protection framework.

She also mentioned an increase in the cyber attacks on various Indian cyber firms. She made the comparison by mentioning that in 2019, 3 lakhs cyber attacks were carried upon various banks alone, which was double the amount of attacks perpetrated in 2018.
Various steps has been taken to counter the threats of cyber attacks. Setting up of Cyber Swachhta Kendra and various other important government offices are helping curbing the situation.
