NASSCOM stated: Top 5 IT firms in India will give 96000 job opportunities

NASSCOM stated: During the time of the pandemic, so many people lost their jobs in so many parts of the world who plays different roles for the company.

The top 5 IT firms based in India decided to add 96000 more job opportunities in response to a report which stated that around 3 million jobs will be lost by 2022 because of automation. The top 5 companies include Wipro, HCL Technologies, TCS, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra who took initiative to go for a better world.

It is also with the evolution of technology with time and increasing in automotive. To develop and upgrade from traditional IT jobs and roles and switch to creating new job opportunities.

The industry hiring department stated that it will be hiring more skilled and talented candidates for the jobs. It is also stated that they have a plan of hiring 138,000 people in the year 2021 and creating new hiring plans for the year 2022.

The industries are working for developing better skills for more than 250,000 employees in the digital field and hired around 40,000 new digitally trained employees which indicates investment and commitment in development in the workforce capabilities.

NASSCOM stated, According to the research of Nasscom, the business process management(BPM) in the Indian industry that they have more than 1.4 million employees (excepting in-house and domestic employees). Going against the report which states nine million by Bank of America in a study.

The IT sector has employed around 4.5 million people as of March 2021. Based on the report by top 5 India IT firms Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Infosys, Wipro, HCL Technologies, and Tech Mahindra the demands of skilled employees have been accelerated by the company for different skills such as cloud computing, Internet of Things(IoT), Artificial Intelligence(AI) and 5G.

Apart from these companies, other companies are planning to increase hiring due to the revival of business demand as compared to last year. It also includes that 33 percent of jobs in BPM sectors refer to Customer service And others are hired to bring technological aspects in the field of innovation.
